Finding me a 007

http://whoopsydaisies.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/daniel-craig.jpg?w=310&h=400Would you rather I put up a scenic picture or a picture of Daniel Craig in a finely tailored suit? Well dressed men can be my kryptonite if I let them (this is why my husband has to get a wardrobe makeover every once in a while) but I digress dont I?

I found this list on twitter last night or maybe this morning and I thought I would share it with you, it is a list of agents on twitter (mostly in North America, UK and Australia will come next). I know most of you have access to RWA or Publishers Marketplace or the Writers Market and what have you, but not everybody can afford to get access to these resources or even live in somewhere geographically convenient

Click here for the list, this should get you started on your agent research, remember as difficult as it seems to get an agent not just any agent will do, you have to go out and find your own 007, I have my eyes on Roger Moore or Daniel Craig and I will let you know when I find my special agent. Believe it or not this post was supposed to be about agents aargh!

  2. I'll take Daniel Craig and Sean Connery, please! That man is still a hunk.

  3. Hi,

I'll have a bite of RM, loved him better as The Saint, though. And in my youth I drooled over him as Ivanhoe - all that shiny armour!

I cannot see anyone but Sean Connery in the role of OO7: no matter which face they're wearing. ;)

Good luck re agents. Must say I met a couple of handsome drool-worthy editors years ago, now they all seem to be wearing skirts!

  4. I'll take Roger Moore and Sean Connery. FAB. ;) Good luck with your special agent search my dear. I've been looking for an online listing of UK agents, seems to be harder to locate.

  5. Hi Joanna, - you know I'll never be looking for an agent, well, to sell my fruits may be - I'm joining this just for fun since I'm here, otherwise I'll never get to comment on your blog!
    I like 007's boss M by Judy Dench. I think she's quite a lady, don't you?

  6. I really prefer my agents not so well dressed, as in "un", but that's just me (okay, maybe the three letter agency agents. Not necessarily the literary ones). Thanks for the list!

  7. Thanks, Joanna!

I'll just say it... I actually prefer Dalton as Bond.

  8. Thank you for the list! And Daniel Craig, of course.

I love a well dressed man, too. Put a suit on my husband and just try to hold me back! :)

  9. Well, 007 is a little distracting, no one will fault you for that. Or for putting those up those pics... yum.

  10. Fun blog, Joanna! I'll take Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig. Roger Moore is just too pretty.

Joanna, I named you as a Versatile Blogger today!

  12. All that insomnia really makes you productive Joanna! I think RM might be a bit old for you now dearie, but he was a smasher in his heyday. Sean Connery, yeah, he's still got it Francine.

    Catch you later, Joanna!

  13. Yup, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig. While Pierce Brosnan was great as Bond too, he was a softer, gentler Bond. Daniel Craig is more Sean-like, in attitude and spy-like demeanor!

Nice to meet you! I followed your link from Maria's award post!

  15. I'm hearing you about men in suits - scrummy! And while I have to say when I first saw Daniel Craig as Mr Bond I was like - nope, you just don't cut the mustard, sunshine. But you know, he's growing on me. Like Carol said, Pierce was softer and I guess I just got used to that. Daniel is all hard edges and naughty enough to be interesting. I may have to throw Casino Royale in the DVD tonight......*taps chin thoughtfully* what shoes should I wear?

  16. Thanks for the list. I'm all about Pearce Brosnan myself :)

  17. Ah, I love Daniel Craig. In fact, he bears a striking resemblance to the hero in my current WIP (in my mind anyway : ) Good luck on the agent search.

  22. You had me going there for a minute. I was thinking: What, they put the names of real CIA, FBI agents up on twitter? Imagine my grin when I saw a bunch of literary agents that I am positive, couldn't rescue a cat out of a burning tree. LOL

  23. ...geez ladies, from a male's point of view...it's Connery, hands down. But I'm not exactly voting from the same perspective as the majority of you:)

  24. Connery was still the best 007. LOL! at NRs comment. Maybe I'll write a series called Diary of a Wimpy Literary Agent.

  25. Cool. Thanks for the list. I am definitely going to check that out. It will have Daniel Craig's contact info., right?

  26. I had a crush on Pierce Brosnan when he was Remington Steele, so ... my heart belongs to him.

Not ready for an agent. Yet. :-)

  27. uhh, did you just say that Daniel Craig can be my agent??? Where do I sign up???
    Ha ha, great post!

  28. Hi Joanna,
If I knew my literary agent looked like one of the 007s, I'd hire him in a flash. LOL! J/K it would be an incentive on top of doing a superb job as an agent.
