A picture says a thousand words and more

What does this picture say about me? I have realized a few things this past week too; I am ambidextrous (but that is not news), what is news is that I use my left hand more than my right and my right hand is a wimp, apparently the only thing I do with my right hand is write and even then the left takes over when the right gets tired (the wimp!).
I have been braced indefinitely let's call it the Candyland (carpal tunnel) Syndrome, so sadly I cannot continue with NaNo *insert relief and smirk here*, I am also supposed to stop blogging but the husband is going back to Fiji for a 10 day trip so there is no one to stop me *now insert crazy laugh here*
Michelle Styles, is going to be in our interrogation room tomorrow - this is one person you want to get to know, she is full of writing advice and knows how to give it to you straight.
Here is a hint, my ring says a lot about my character, Happy Sleuthing

  3. Oh damn. Carpal tunnel is something pretty serious, isn't it? My cousin's a butcher and he had to take a six month sick leave because of that.

  4. I'm really sorry about your carpel tunnel and NaNo. I hope you're feeling better soon. Enjoy your rest and see you around (since you're still blogging.)

  5. I'd also say you're a Star Trek fan based on how you have your fingers spread.

  6. I had to spend a month in one of those bracey things, too. It is truly shocking how much I rely on my non-dominant hand. It's like, the submissive partner is really the one with all the power...

  7. I thought it was a version of the live long and prosper sign made by vulcans! I hope your hand gets better soon, I often get RSI from took much mousework. Your hand does look elegant in its fragile state, though.

  9. Oh dear, poor you! Shame about NaNo and the inconvenience of having to rest your hand. Your ring looks sparkly and gorgeous but even on enlarging the picture I still can't see it clearly.
    Take care.

  11. So sorry about that. I wonder how many others have succombed to carpal tunnel during NaNo month? Your nails look lovely btw.

  12. Oh..indefinitely, I hope it goes away sooner rather than later. Your ring looks lovely, can't say much about the design. But that's a Vulcan sign, and you also take care of your nails, lol...

  13. Hi Joanna, Hope you hand gets better fast and looking forward to Michelle Stylles. And wow! your hubby's coming my way again?

  14. I probably can't see your ring well enough to get anything from that but it's definitely unique. Despite the brace on your wrist, you take better care of your hands. My hands age me terribly, I play guitar so my nails are always short.
    Also, Star Trek?
Good luck with carpal tunnel. SUCKS!

  15. Sorry to hear about your poor hand, but on the plus side your nails look gorgeous and the ring looks lovely! Hope your hand gets better soon.

  16. Oh no! That's painful. Maybe you need to soak in a tub w/ a Lush bubble bar & you'll feel a lot better. You are near a Lush store, right?

I'm impressed you can do the Vulcan salute! :)

Just take it easy & you'll be able to write w/ both hands soon.

  17. Love that bling! Sorry about carpel syndrome, gosh, but at least you found a way to drop out of NaNo and save face *does a dance*. Maybe you'll need to get voice-activated software as you're obviously not going to stop writing, especially while the husb is away.:)

  18. ha ha you all got me so well, the pain is not that bad because we caught it early.
I have secretly been a star wars fan since I was a kid, i even had a star wars boy pjs(am not sure they made one for girls). As you can tell I do like to be girly hence the painted nals. My ring yes it has a lot of ice on it (I can be high maintenance).
If you think you might be having Carp Tun see a doctor fast because if it gets bad they might have to operate on it.
Nas yes you guys have captured my man for another 10 days I am not happy but I know he will bring me beautiful pictures.

  19. Feel better, Joanna! And take care of yourself. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is nothing to mess around with.

  20. Awww, sorry about the hand. I think i heard about the syndrome on t.v. but i didn't give it much of a thought. Now, i know it can happen to anybody. Your hand is pretty swollen. Thankfully, you can use the other one pending your recuperation. What about your boy? I bet he would think your hand is a new toy...LOL.

  21. Oops i forgot to add that your ring is resplendent!!! As for the nails...erm...erm...hmmm...its LOVELY! Gotcha!

  22. Sounds like you are ambidextrous through necessity! Hope the carpal tunnel clears up for you - it often comes on during pregnancy so mothers are more prone to it apparently.

Couldn't make any sense of the hint about your ring, but I agree with Candyland and Jayne - your nails are beautiful!

  23. Take care of yourself!! But very stylish on the look of the brace... don't know what's so different, but you're definitely rockin' it! :)
