Statistics

First of all, did you know bloggers on Blogger have a Stats button where you can see how many people are viewing your page and who your audience is?
If you did not, well now you know. If you click on dashboard or design or  new post, its one of the tabs staring at you. So today I have decided to take a one step ahead and say hi to the people viewing my page.
These are the countries my humble blog has been viewed  in this week
South Korea - Yeo bo sae yo
France - Salut
Russia - Pri - vet
Nigeria - I dey hail you oh
Sweden - Tja
Israel - Sholem Aleikhem
Luxembourg - Moien
Mexico - Hola
Germany - Hallo
Fiji - Bula Uro
India - Namaste/Namaskar
USA - Hey
UK - Hi (I feel like saying pip pip cheerio but that annoyed me everytime someone said this to me in America)
Australia - Hi

I love languages and I could not resist doing this post and saying hi to everybody out there, I got these translations from wikipedia so feel free to correct me if anything is wrong, I love learning.

Now its time to go back to my WIP and listen to the muse who has strangely become quite the chatterbox.

  3. I love that new stats button. Before they introduced it, I had an invisible stats counter that even showed how long people stayed on my sight and what site brought them to mine in the first place. Cool. :)

  6. Hi Joanna,

First, I want to say I feel awful posting something self serving in another bloggers comments, but you're one of my best readers/favorite commentors and I couldn't find an email for you. So anyways..

I'm having my first Blogfest, The Beta Party BlogFest. It's to help people meet beta readers and help interested readers find authors. I am also having a giveaway with it, a new writing advice book called "the forest for the trees", I've heard good things. And also a beta read from me.

Not required that they have an MS to be read, anyone can enter the drawing.

If you want to enter, co-host, or just spread the word that would be great

    Thanks so much!

  7. "Gidday mate!" would be regarded as "pure Ocker" or "Australian" - but people do say "Hi" or "Hello" or "Morning". However I can also say hello in five different languages just between here and the local shops because of local linguistic diversity!

  8. @catdownunder thanx for the info, I am still trying to say thank you in every language possible but hello seems like a better idea really.
@Erica am on it like white on rice

  11. I haven't really explored those tools that let you know whose looking at your blog. I think I'm just afraid that it will only show me from my work computer every five minutes.
